Valves
Valve components are cast for applications where severe corrosion, high pressures and high or cryogenic temperatures are prevalent, in stainless steels, nickle-based corrosion resistant alloys, carbon steels and low alloy steels. Typical applications are the petrochemical (exploration and refining), mining and food & beverage industries as well as desalination, fertiliser and chemical plants.
Our large range of castings for the valve industry includes valve bodies, balls, butterflies and bell mouths.
Castings are produced at the three Steloy plants, all of which have access to centralised solidification analyses and modelling (Magmasoft) and CNC patternmaking.
Valve components are produced in accordance with the relevant ASTM, DIN EN and SEW specifications and conform to applicable NACE specifications.
